On October 2, 2020, ACTIVE partners held online the project interim meeting. The meeting was planned to be organized physically in Scotland, however due to covid19 this was not feasible.
The main topic of the meeting was the upcoming online workshop on the 14 & 15th of October. All partners discussed and exchanged ideas on the agenda and how the content can be more attractive and relevant for the sports organizations.
Implementing child protection policies in sports premises will be the core of the workshop. Within this context, experts from Scotland will transfer knowledge to the participants from Greece, Italy, Portugal and Cyprus. The participants will have the opportunity to present their organizations, their main activities and to ask questions on how to enhance their capacity on child protection.
Moreover, partners during the meeting discussed the finalization of the Self Assessment Tool which will be free of charge and available soon for all the sports clubs. Through this tool, sports organizations will assess in what extent they implement child protection policies, they will identify gaps and they will get feedback.
